Job Description

Evaluating and developing a deep understanding of income drivers and commercial insight across divisions and Group in a high profile and fast paced environment. You'll support us with:

• Month-end actuals reporting
• Quarterly forecasts
• Annual 4 Year Operating Plan
• External results communication including market messaging through Q&A and external support pack
• Ad hoc commercial deep dives

This will involve:

• Preparation of income and balance sheet analysis and outputs to support Senior Group stakeholders including GEC and Group Board
• Robust control of Group financial data and the processes required to create insightful management information
• Use of Planning Analytics tool
• Understanding and effective communication of income, customer balance sheet and Net Interest Margin (NIM) drivers from both Divisional and Group lens
• Building trusted relationships across divisional and central teams
• Contributing to the design & content of the team’s outputs
• Contribute to team development activities including identifying and driving opportunities for process improvement

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Intellectual curiosity and analytical ability

• Ability to form positive relationships with stakeholders
• Experience using Planning Analytics desirable
• Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint including how to effectively present financial and written information in a persuasive way
