You will ensure strong financial control across all entities which stand up to the highest levels of probity and scrutiny over public funds. This work will include all Group financial and business planning for the College and the Multi Academy Trust, ensuring accurate financial reporting and returns to all stakeholders in a timely fashion.
Moreover, this post holder will play a major role by deputizing for the Group Director of Finance in his/her absence and is heavily involved in stakeholder reporting, budget planning, forecasting, and providing leadership and management of the day-to-day operations of the Finance and payroll departments ensuring compliance with financial regulations and other regulatory requirements.
