Job Description

They have a newly created permanent requirement in their business for a Finance Manager to be based at their Thame site.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting the finance team in becoming even more effective.
• Developing a sound understanding of the client accounting software, and how it interfaces with other parts of the business.
• Running end-to-end finance including financial reporting, regulatory reporting, cash management, financial systems, FP&A and MI.
• Preparing monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasting.
• Implement and ensure best-in-class frameworks and practices around compliance and accounting.
• Supporting and business partnering the wider management team in executing ambitious plans and supporting strategic decisions based on financial data and insight.
• Interact with external stakeholders including accountants, banks, professional advisors, and suppliers.

On offer is a salary of 40-50k (depending on experience), bonus, study support (if required), plus good benefits and some flexible hybrid working.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates that apply must have previous Finance experience, ideally within a smaller business to a supervisory level. You should ideally be fully or part qualified, organized, with good attention to detail, analytically minded with the ability to business partner and motivate a small team. You must possess good systems skills, in particular Excel.
