Job Description

This is a crucial role within the organization and would suit an Accountant or Part Qualified Accountant who is working towards or has recently completed their ACCA accreditation. This is a supporting role within the business, supporting the Sales Ledger and Senior Accountant aiming to develop and progress into a Head of Finance role over the next few years.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate and complete accounting records for the company and for the integrity of the Balance Sheet Accounts.
• Assisting with Year-End Audit information
• Monthly analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts, inclusive of intercompany balances, accruals and prepayments
• Assisting with Sales Ledger reconciliations.
• Dealing with ad-hoc reporting requirements.
• Banking analysis, posting and reconciliation.
• General Book-keeping.

This role would suit candidates studying towards their ACCA qualification with potential for a “Study Leave Package” subject to discussion.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to confidently communicate with individuals at all levels throughout the organization.
• The ability to understand and deliver the requirements of the Finance Director.
• Experience and competency with Microsoft Office tools, in particular Excel.
• A knowledge of Sage accounting software would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of Healthy Practice and Health Code software would be advantageous.
