Job Description
Role with the finance department is to provide daily accounting support to the finance manager and business support across the company to enable communication and drive business results across the organization, a varied role to be tailored to the strengths of the successful applicant and provide maximum support to the finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Assistance in preparation of accurate financial and management accounts to enable reporting according to required schedule set out in finance manual.
- Maintain up to date SAP and excel reports for management.
- Preparation and timely submission of statistical accounts.
- Working with Operational departments (Sort, Ramp, NCG, Customs, Performance improvement, Facilities) and indirect functions (HR, IT) to review processes and document scope changes relating to FTE’s/Costs.
- Support Sort & Ramp productivity analysis.
- Provide documentation support, procedure, and financial initiatives for the business.
- Support the budget, the auditing process, the training, and the coordination of projects
- Support Project Financial submissions and trackers liaising with business partner responsible and Project team management.
- Submission of business surveys for Office of National Statistics.
- Providing deliverables for annual audit process as required.
- Ad-hoc tasks.
