Job Description

The FP&A service is achieved with integrated financial planning done in collaboration with local and global Recorded and Publishing teams, the promotion of data driven decision making underpinned by consistent and insightful management and performance reporting as well as relevant forecasting and modelling through use of reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities.

  • Being the key intermediary between central group and finance teams to oversee the planning cycle for business, coordinating and consolidating the financial story for wider circulation, and ensuring both timely reporting to deadlines and consistency of message.
  • Proactively supporting the CFO, FP&A VP’s and senior managers in joining the dots across the value chain, providing relevant, actionable and impactful management information and insights through monitoring of financial data, FCF performance and highlighting risks and opportunities versus plans.
  • Working across many functions to spearhead the dissemination of digestible insights and connected planning to the business with the use of strategic IT tools.
  • Acting as the Finance Business partner to the team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience of month end reporting and FP&A.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to work to strict deadlines and take ownership for workload.
  • Critical thinker and driven to get under the root cause of problems and issues.
  • Proven high standard of communication skills with finance and non-finance, able to use data to tell a story.
  • Methodical, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Diligent, conscientious, proactive and flexible in approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • SAP/Excel (Intermediate/Advanced).
  • SQL skills, accompanied with an understanding of database querying best practices and optimization.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Fully qualified in either ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
  • Interest in music and how to tell stories with data.
  • Commitment to continual professional/self-development.
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS.
  • Experience delivering compelling reporting/insights via BI platforms (Looker/Tableau/Power BI /Anaplan etc.).
  • Project management.
  • Influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience of working in the music industry or creative environment.
  • An understanding of music royalties.
