Job Description
The Finance Manager will report to the Finance, operations and Delivery and act as the primary contact to the wider business on all aspects of finance and procurement. You will be responsible for, among other things, the month end process, monthly billing and collection, annual budgeting, and audit cycles. They will be required to engage with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of annual budget and quarterly reforecasts
- Liaising with Launchpad and BP on group reporting deliverables
- Responsibility for the monthly billing and collections process
- Ownership of the entire P2P process including compliance, vendor onboarding, purchase orders, invoicing, and payment
- Ownership of monthly reporting cycle
- Responsibility for producing timely management reporting on variances against budget and other relevant KPIs
- First line approval on all invoices, purchase orders, expense claims and payments
- Review of VAT and tax returns as well as facilitation of work on Tax credits
- General process improvements to increase the robustness of financial reporting
- Development of one direct report
- Management of the system
