Job Description
  • Support the annual budgeting and 3-year long term strategy and financial plan to deliver organic growth, margin, and cash in line with business expectations.
  • Prepare detailed analysis and backups in preparation for financial reviews.
  • Develop strong understanding of monthly and quarterly activities and provide insights on trends and business performance by key drivers as needed: volume, pricing, mix & inflation, investments & cost productivity.
  • Support Ultrasound Finance and operational teams in Operating Mechanisms by driving consistent data and enhancing existing reporting capabilities for actuals and key KPIs: direct vs fully burdened views, unconstrained vs constrained, regional / sub-regional, group allocations.
  • Build database and gather data of key competitors & customers to provide relative market comparisons & put our performance in context.
  • Support on the preparation process in the lead up to company including preparation of the IR Script, relevant back up materials & preparation of Q&A for the earnings call.
  • Build process to track performance against externally communicated financial guidance; proactively identify any points of variation & partner with Group FP&A and Investor Relations team on how to address accordingly.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Minimum 2 years of operating finance expertise and rigor
  • Demonstrated depth and breadth in FP&A expertise from prior assignments
  • Ability to manage multiple high priorities and high visibility deliverables
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

Desired Characteristics:

  • Enjoys thriving in a fast-paced, highly visible, intellectually challenging environment
  • Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, Hyperion, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)
  • Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
  • Contributes to the success and foundations of a first-time public company
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to challenge the status-quo.
