Job Description

This is a key role and an opportunity to impact the bottom line of this a high-end brand that has an ever-expanding global presence. You will be responsible for the operational function, including managing 2 direct reports (and further indirect reports) and driving the implementation of streamlined operational processes.
Responsibilities Include:

• Managing, developing and up skilling 2 direct reports and 8 indirect reports
• Business partnering with the wider teams to ensure all processes and controls are in place regarding AP, banking, treasury, stock integrity and year-end
• Prepare a daily cash flow forecast for 12 months ahead to establish business funding requirements
• Ensure adequate stock provisions for shrinkage, write-offs and markdowns are in place
• Managing the month-end, half year and full year close including dealing with audit queries
• Driving finance operation improvements across the group and taking a lead in a variety of finance projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will be an ACA/ACCA/CA Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years managerial experience in the retail industry, or an ACA practice trained Accountant with at least 2 years PQE. You will know what good looks like and have knowledge of setting up and maintaining a strong control environment. Experience with Oracle is beneficial but not essential. You will thrive working with key stakeholders across an entire business, have previous experience working in or auditing a fast-paced consumer business and be confident dealing with internal and external audit reviews. You must be comfortable being flexible and adaptable, be detail-orientated with strong analytical skills, whilst still being able to view the ‘Big Picture’.
