Job Description

The Business Partnering Team provides all finance business partnering to squads and tribes outside of the Product Tribes, and includes activity such as marketing, customer care and capital investment. As well as running budgets and forecasts for this activity, this team will spend a significant amount of time within squads to support delivery of key outcomes. This role primarily provides financial support to the Contact Operational Tribe.

The role will require the Business Partner to butterfly into other squads as business priorities evolve and work closely with Procurement in supporting commercial objectives during contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing and presenting monthly operational and financial performance reports
• Formal forecasting processes such as budget and re-forecast cycles
• Monthly outlook analysis and reviews for internal stewardship
• Attending monthly business reviews with key suppliers
• Commercial review of contracts with new and existing suppliers
• Analysis of Initiatives / Projects proposed, offering solutions and recommendations
• Forecasting the Call Volumes for the voice operation

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Qualified accountant with proven experience of PQE in a commercial finance environment.
• Track record of ownership of process and deliverables.
• Experience of building and maintaining positive relationships across Finance and the wider business.
• Ability to move quickly between maintaining accuracy in the detail and providing an impactful high-level overview.
• Fluent use of Excel and systems.
• Embody an Agile mindset and culture to contribute to the growth in agile maturity of our business.
• Inspect and adapt their way of working for continuous improvement.
