Job Description

You will act as the central point of contact for both external and internal support parties, acting as a representative for the business, ensuring adherence to a common design, governance principals and company policy. They will also have a key role in driving standardization and promoting improvement ideas.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This role requires a disciplined multi-tasker, holistic thinking with a good functional knowledge of SAP and accounting & reporting processes. The individual should also possess the softer skills of relationship and network building, to be able to effectively engage and influence across the business to make the solution relevant.

Candidate requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor level degree
  • Qualified Accountant with work-based Management Accountant and Month-End close experience
  • Trained or experience in SAP FI/CO
  • Ability to understand financial process from both SSC and Business perspective, preference for candidate with both Accounting and Commercial Business Partnering (controlling) experience
  • Independent, confident self-starter
  • A demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders
  • Process minded with an ability to consider end to end processes from a global perspective
  • Proven experience of financial systems within specialist area
  • Experience of collaboration and leading networks
  • Solution orientated with experience of effective issue resolution (root cause problem solving)
  • Strong interpersonal skills within a multi-disciplinary team and with external contacts and confidence to challenge appropriately
  • Passionate with the drive to see things through to delivery and implementation
  • Flexibility to travel, be on site where the action needs to happen
