Job Description

This is a senior post in the finance team, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer to support the organization in identification and report on progress and achievement of the Cost Improvement programme's efficiency and cost reduction projects (CIP). You will also work closely with other members of the Senior Finance Team, members of the company operational and corporate leads to support them in developing and driving forward efficiency and cost reduction projects.

The governance structure supporting the Chief Financial Officer includes a Programme Management Office to provide independent assurance, monitoring, scrutiny and programme level reporting on all the work streams to ensure delivery of cost reduction projects as well as to help to identify and work up the schemes with the Finance and Business Managers and Divisions.

The nature of the role requires the ability for the post holder to use their initiative, managing their own time and setting priorities as part of the wider Finance team within a demanding and dynamic setting.

The Post Holder will lead the management of the Programme Management Office to ensure that the team delivers key deadlines
