Job Description

• You will be pivotal in partnering the business to provide commercial and financial insights and analysis to help influence key business decisions
• You’ll be managing monthly reporting, forecasts, the annual budget cycle and stress testing scenarios; identifying critical information on key themes and trends and presenting these to the business leadership with clear and concise recommendations
• In this key role you’ll gain valuable exposure and hone your expertise as you advance your career

You’ll be providing business insights and market knowledge to assist the Ventures leadership team to make key product, cost and investments specific decisions

You'll also be providing Ventures-wide portfolio support and acting as the central point of contact for Ventures-wide reporting; providing a central consolidation point for month end reporting, budgeting and managing ad-hoc requests

You’ll also be:

• Analyzing financial regulatory change impact on products and services
• Providing investment tracking and forecasting reviews
• Using data and analytics to solve strategic problems using the latest tools and techniques
• Collaborating with our Finance Centre’s of excellence to provide specific financial plans, forecasts, stress testing and customer, market or segment analysis
• Undertake review and challenge to ensure the optimum use of resources presented in investment decisions and business cases

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you’ll need excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders. Along with planning and organization capabilities, you’ll need the ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty and risk, and work in a flexible environment. You'll ideally be a qualified accountant.

• You’ll have a strong financial acumen, good data analysis and modelling skills
• The ability to understand, interpret and explain complex financial information in a concise and non-technical manner
• A pragmatic and logical approach to key details and data and stress testing scenarios
• Strategic awareness and the ability to apply business knowledge, expertise and challenge to support the business
• Good finance functional knowledge, accounting knowledge and product area and market segment knowledge
