Job Description

Working within the finance leadership team this role will help support the delivery of an effective finance strategy ensuring effective and efficient systems and practices are in place to support and drive our business decisions. Working with a small team you will be responsible for ensuring robust systems, controls, measurement, analysis and processes are in place to support operational effectiveness as well as preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, budgets and forecasts, tax and payroll ensuring all are produced in a timely, accurate and effective manner and communicated clearly to appropriate audiences.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You'll ideally be degree Qualified Accountant but we’re looking for a solid financial expert. Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills and demonstrable experience of leading a professional team. Previous experience with SAGE, Cognos Tm1 or similar business information tools is desirable.

You will have experience of leading a team through a coaching and collaborative approach, coupled with impeccable experience of managing business change at a strategic level. You will have experience of managing financial teams to focus on high quality output in a timely manner and used to identifying areas for improvement backed by impeccable knowledge of financial systems and principles of good accounting.
