Job Description

In addition, the role is responsible for leading finance involvement in the operational readiness work streams for new hotels, including setting of budgets and ensuring the operational reporting infrastructures is in place to deliver the business cases.
Responsibilities :
You will
Lead voice of Finance on Operations leadership team, actively considering broader business factors and sharing opinions to drive manage business delivery
Deliver timely & accurate financial reporting on Operations performance, with insight & challenge to support annual budget delivery
Lead Operations budget setting process to ensure challenging but achievable hotel budgets are set in co-ordination with Operations directors
Co-ordinate a continuous improvement programme for Operations, setting
long term improvement targets, capturing new initiatives & tracking
delivery
Create an environment within the Finance team that reflects the culture
and mission of Warner Leisure Hotels
Oversight of Time and Attendance system, monitoring of adherence to
hotel labor model and co-ordination with central payroll team to ensure
accurate and timely payment of team
Review and approval of capital business cases for existing hotels and
managing the capital budget for Warner hotels
Lead and develop the Operations Finance team, ensuring resources and
capabilities are in place to deliver key responsibilities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical financial skills (Qualified accountant)
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • An expert in driving improvement and managing costs
  • Planning and Budget experience including the creation of Budgets and Forecasts
  • Stakeholder management whilst managing a team of direct reports
