Job Description

• Own and drive the budgeting, forecasting and results review processes to deliver insightful management information to the team
• Be a relied-upon counsel to the FD and the International team
• Help build credible budgets to deliver profitable growth in line with Corporate targets
• Partner with the FP&A Centre of Excellence to refine financial reports in line with business needs
• Communicate extensively with regional and country stakeholders to warrant the integrity of financial results
• Provide financial consulting and strategic support in relation to Capex projects, annual strategic planning and business acquisition opportunities
• Gain a holistic understanding of company’s value proposition and growth drivers through effective partnering with regional and country leads, Sales Operations, O&T, HR and other relevant business functions
• Challenge finance business partners and regional leaders on the validity of financial forecasts, develop an understanding of country-specific market trends and assess the success of the company strategy through financial and non-financial KPIs

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation, analytical and financial modelling skills
• Robust understanding of accounting principles and eagerness to dive into accounting issues as needed
• Ability to think strategically and in a structured manner
• Good business acumen and an interest in understanding MMB’s business model in detail
• Experience in driving change and building effective relationships inside and outside the Finance function
• Leadership potential and willingness to develop junior talent
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and with teams
• Working knowledge of Smartview / Hyperion Financial Management tools
• Extensive FP&A / business performance management experience in financial services with a focus on profit Centre’s
• Business degree with a concentration in finance and accounting
• Ability to influence senior business partners
• Familiarity with the insurance or insurance broking industry is a plus
• Experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase and Oracle Financials is desirable
