Job Description

You will assist with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns for our constantly expanding client base. Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the tax planning, preparation of self-assessment tax return & company accounts/returns
  • Liaising with the Client Account Manager in completing the client onboarding & set-up process
  • Build relationships with clients, ensuring you have all the required information to accurate process their accounts.
  • Effectively schedule client tax returns to ensure an even workload throughout the calendar year.
  • Carry out compliance work for personal companies clients.
  • Liaising with external parties in connection with accounting and financial information and data.
  • Develop and maintain internal relationships across the group of companies to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
  • Promote the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities
  • Continuous professional development to meet personal development needs

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Our ideal applicant will have experience working within a similar role, preparing self-assessment tax turns within an accountancy practice. Strong IT skills are essential, and an ATT qualification (or equivalent) would be preferred.

We are looking for motivated, solution-orientated individuals that are passionate about providing high levels of customer service and can pay close attention to detail. You will often be the first point of call for clients looking to engage our services so you must be a confident and knowledgeable communicator.
