Full range of bookkeeping duties, including sales and purchase ledgers
Understanding and application of double entry
Assist in preparation and filing of VAT returns
Preparation and submission of CIS monthly returns
Preparation of monthly payrolls
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Practice experience in providing bookkeeping services to clients in an accountancy practice
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and bookkeeping packages Xero and Sage is essential, and some knowledge of others such as QuickBooks and cashflow would be an advantage
Double entry bookkeeping skills
Able to meet time constrictions and tight deadlines
Inter-personal and customer service skills are essential
