Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience of working in bookkeeping practice, dealing with multiple clients (minimum of working for two years in a similar role)
- Experience in Microsoft excel and word
- Experience in computerized financial accounting software e.g., Xero, Quickbooks
- Good numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail - especially when working with spreadsheets and software
- Previous experience of working in an accounting or bookkeeping practice, dealing with multiple clients
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Problem solving skills and able to work unsupervised using own initiative
- Ability to priorities, plan and organize work
- AAT, CIMA or ACCA qualified or part qualified
- Bookkeeping to trial balance (management accounts experience desirable)
- Ability to keep financial records and prepare routine financial reports
