Job Description

We are looking for a candidate with experience as a Management Accountant who can complete all month end tasks in including producing the P&L. You will be a strong business partner and have excellent reporting and analysis skills.
You will be:

• Responsible for producing full monthly management accounts for European subsidiary’s (currently 3) Monthly reporting packs to Senior Management
• Business Partnering, reporting and analysis to highlight issues and opportunities and support business growth
• Calculate and post all month end journals including accruals / prepayments and Control account reconciliations
• Continual optimization of reporting ensuring timely accurate information is provided to Management to enable good decision making
• Provide support to the Financial Controller with Sonepar reporting including Group consolidation
• Review accounting procedures to ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP & Sonepar policies
• Create and maintain relationships so you need to enjoy dealing with people and be confident that you can make a good impression
• Take charge of your personal development and contribute to the evaluation of performance in line with Routeco’s core competencies and learning and development framework
• Observe Health & Safety policies and procedures

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 3+ years’ experience of management accounts producing P&L and B/S is a requirement of the role
• Excellent team player – able to support the team during busy times
• Experience with business partnering able to take the lead and have full ownership for driving cost control, productivity and supporting sales
• Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills are required
• Real passion for making a difference and driving change
• Experience of working with foreign subsidiaries
• Advanced Excel skills including Ifs, Pivots and V Lookup
