Job Description
This role will be reporting to the Group Finance Director and will give the right candidate a broad mix of experience. The role will manage 2 direct reports and also support them moving to a new system, currently on Sage and likely to be moving to a newer Microsoft product soon. The role is based in their office with hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate accounting and reflection of company performance through efficient month end process.
- Responsible for all monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage a team of 2-3 people in the core finance team.
- Ensure a robust control environment, promoting adherence to financial policies and guidelines whilst encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure tax and statutory compliance with the relevant UK and any relevant overseas authorities.
- Responsibility for production of regular cash flow forecasts and cash management.
- Manage the group and subsidiary entity audits
- Key finance lead on payroll process, liaising with HR & external payroll providers.
- Key support in implementation of new finance system, liaising with the rest of the project team to ensure we have a truly “best in class” solution.
- Mentor and develop the Finance team as necessary.
A salary of £55,000-£58,000 is on offer plus 10% bonus and benefits.
