Job Description
  • Build your own personal book of clients by engaging and establishing a professional rapport with key decision makers through a mixture of inbound leads, existing members from Johnson Control’s database, as well as being free to research and contact outbound prospects
  • Anticipate new business by keeping on top of industry and territory changes and conducting market research to identify new opportunities
  • Generate new business opportunities through visiting prospects in your territory
  • Obtain an in-depth knowledge of Johnson Controls, their products and the markets within which they operate, in order to have valuable conversations with clients
  • Manage contractor accounts and actively sell smaller project opportunities
  • Collaborate with your Sales manager to drive effective territory management to maximise sales
  • Manage and maintain the company CRM system, ensuring all sales related activity is input accurately and efficiently

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Educated to degree level
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Excellent time-management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – you must really enjoy engaging with others on a regular basis
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
