Job Description

• You will own our management reporting, working across the business to define the information and analysis we need and to ensure systems and processes enable insightful and largely automated reporting.
• You will partner with our leadership team to help them make the best-informed decisions possible.
• You will lead our forecasting and budgeting processes both as a modeler and a business partner, directly influencing every significant strategic decision we make.

You will be supported by the CFO at board level and the Group Finance Director to push through changes needed in the wider finance team. You will start with a small team to support with analysis, but have a mandate to extend our business partnering capabilities across the business.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• The ideal candidate will have enjoyed top tier professional training and so perform well when either given independence or put under pressure. Strong academics, or at least a strong intellect, are also important
• You’ll have immaculate analytical, presentation and modelling skills as well as the commercial understanding and personality to engage with people from all functions of the business.
• A chartered accountancy qualification and 4+ years post qualification experience is required, but we need commercial and analytical smarts more than technical expertise on accounting standards.
• Experience with a technology business is preferable, as is experience of implementing and building out FP&A solutions.
• Flexible get-stuff-done mindset, low ego and strong humor are all required too.
