Job Description
- The of Financial Accountant is to assist the Financial Reporting Manager in the control of the finance and accounting policies, practises and procedures
- It will also include the compliance with statutory requirements, preparation of monthly financial reports, accounting records, variance analysis and ad reporting
- Provide accurate accounting of all assets, liabilities, income and expenses
- Provide variance analysis on monthly results to determine performance in month end and year end
- Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Improve Financial reporting, processes and controls
- Liaise with external auditors and tax professionals as required during the conduct of the audit process
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Part Qualified
- Proven experience working as a Financial Accountant with strong experience with both month end and year end
- Very strong experience with reporting
- Ability to manage change in a positive manner
- Strong experience with process improvement
