Financial Accountant

Job Description
- An ambitious, growing consumer business require an interim financial accountant on a contract basis.
- Financial Accountant is required to support with the year end process and will work within a group environment and be responsible for the preparation of consolidated accounts, and ultimately the statutory accounts
- You will be able to work accurately under pressure, especially during the year end reporting and audit process.
- You will be comfortable thinking at corporate level, as well as drilling into the detail whilst problem solving.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Key role in the annual audit, including day-to-day liaison with external auditors for year-end
- Working with the Finance team and other departments in preparation of audit deliverables
- Ensure the business’ audit deliverables meet the year-end audit milestone plan
- Analyzing the effect of and keeping up to date with new accounting standards then implementing them in the Financial Statements as required
- Working with external tax experts for the year-end tax computations
- You will be ACA/CAANZ qualified with solid accounting experience including statutory accounting, consolidation, and tax and knowledge of the end-to-end statutory audit process, and experience of liaising with auditors
