Making sure that company related journal postings are made correctly and on time during the monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting cycle
Ensuring a robust and well controlled balance sheet
Analyzing and explaining balance sheet developments from an operational, commercial and accounting perspective to stakeholders on all levels
Collaborating with other members of the finance community across all markets to solve problems and harmonize and optimize processes
Contributing towards group wide project activities, subprojects and take ownership of designing accounting processes
Improving transparency on the overall balance sheet position across all airlines by building a reporting suite & KPI’s in this area that enables senior stakeholders to gain a clear and speedy insight into the area
Working closely with your manager and the Head of Finance to develop a roadmap for this area across all five Airlines and pave the way towards an aligned accounting function

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Part / qualified accountant or extensive experience working in finance/controlling
Excellent analytical skills
A self-starter with strong problem solving skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Diligent with a good eye for details while keeping overarching goals in mind
Ability to analyze and present complex topics to senior stakeholders
Good project management and strong intercultural communications skills
Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written, and may involve some international travel
Other language skills (German, Dutch, Swedish) a plus
Experience working experience with SAP and Oracle HFM
