Job Description
- The main purpose of the Accountant position is to provide professional accountancy services in accordance with practice policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Planning jobs for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, pension funds and charities
- Preparing final accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, pension funds and charities
- Presenting draft accounts to clients
- Participating in regular correspondence with clients
- Preparing/reviewing confirmation statements and other statutory documentation
- Preparing management accounts
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- You will be used to monitoring your own performance against time allocations, reporting any difficulties that may arise
- Either qualified or be on your way to achieving your ACCA accreditation
- Competency in various finance-based systems, for example, Iris Accounting, Xero, QuickBooks
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, across the whole suite of products
- The ability to recognize opportunities and introduce other disciplines to client organizations
