Job Description

• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounting (including accruals, prepayments, accurate monthly flash reporting, monthly commentary and full year outlook)
• Update weekly sales trading results and attend all trading meetings, completing follow up actions in a timely manner
• Detailed understanding and tracking of headcount, listed by employee with knowledge of all open roles and the operational impact of these.
• Calculation and submission of monthly sales commissions.
• Provide Business Partner support – regular review of cost trackers ensuring that they own and are accountable for their areas. Also clear any process or general queries coming from the business.
• Assist Head of FP&A to produce accurate forecasting and budgeting as required (detailed workings bottom up for each department, posting to accounting systems and budget presentations and strategy).

Financial Accounting and Governance

• Create monthly robust accounting processes for tracking costs and therefore support for monthly accruals.
• Maintain tight balance sheet control, ensuring monthly balance sheet reconciliations are reviewed and adjustments posted where necessary
• Review all capex, following up on projects and capitalizing where relevant
• Provide Balance Sheet summary, Sales statistics and Capex reporting as part of the monthly Board pack
• Complete and submit monthly Working Capital forecasts
• Liaise with external advisors to complete all foreign VAT submissions
• Key point of contact for all audit enquiries (both Group and local statutory accounts), organizing the evidence and clearing all audit points within tight deadlines. Also, key contact for all Internal audit and other compliance requests
• Governance for processes around new employees, leavers, pay/role changes and expense claims.
