Job Description

You will be responsible for the overall planning, forecasting, control, and guidance for the total Overhead cost for the Retail Business, including the Retail cost (store wages and lease cost). Your key responsibilities include:

• Finance business partner for Retail Operations and Store Operations
• FP&A responsibility for total Retail overheads (covering physical and digital channels and all supporting functions) including planning, forecasting, and monitoring spend during the year
• Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and ways of working for all overhead costs in Retail Finance. This includes the improvement of the forecasting accuracy of the overhead costs including variable costs impacted by the top line growth (wage and lease) but also the improvement in processes underlying our store staffing costs and lease costs.
• Support on commercial strategy reporting for Retail workstreams
• Deliver data analytics and monthly insights on actual cost spend vs. forecast enabling trade-offs & optimization dialogues with partners in the business and finance community.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualification) or Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, Management Accounting or other similar relevant background.
• +10 years of proven finance business partner experience from a global company, preferable with Retail experience
• Strong Partner engagement skills and the ability to build good relations ships and aligned outcomes
• Motivated by taking initiative to continuously improve execution and act on opportunities.
• The ability to take ownership, enable trade off dialogues and drive tasks and priorities to a conclusion.
• Experience working with various data and reporting platforms such as Excel, SAP, business intelligence and Power BI.
