Management Accountant

Job Description
- Oversee all aspects of management accounting control and execution including variance analysis to budget and prior year
- Ensure the timely closure of nominal and purchase ledgers
- Various cash/treasury related tasks
- Support the Deputy Finance Director and monitor the execution and delivery of core business and finance projects and initiatives as pertinent to the department along with relevant process improvements
- Support the Financial Controller and Head of Projects with month end requirements and the year-end external audit as required
- The opportunity to manage two direct reports
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA)
- 3 years within a management accounting role. Financial services industry experience would be hugely beneficial but not essential
- Supervisory experience would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels, both internally and externally
- Excellent level of accuracy, numeracy, computer and Excel skills (Look ups/Sumifs/Pivot tables)
