Job Description
  • Managing a portfolio of clients, being the first point of contact and maintaining good working relationships to fulfil their accountancy needs to ensure an excellent service
  • Preparation and submission of statutory accounts
  • Management accounts
  • Day-to-day bookkeeping including reconciliations and invoice processing
  • Calculating VAT, corporation tax and personal tax and submitting returns

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Significant experience gained in an accounts position within a practice environment
  • Qualification is not essential applications from part qualified or qualified by experience candidates will be considered
  • Experience gained in an all-round accounting / client manger role is preferred
  • Be IT literate with good working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, IRIS and Sage
  • Able to effectively manage own workload and complete work accurately and to deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
