Job Description
- Support the manager in ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives, both local and global
- To drive and manage change, providing clear direction in the achievement of stretch targets
- Ensure the correct financial results are reported on-time
- Review and challenge of results ensuring there is a continual monitoring and improvement in the controls environment
- Development of a quality review of processes & procedures, driving value-added activity, having a continuous improvement mindset
- Liaison with the external auditors, ensuring accurate and timely data provision and proactive, sustainable resolution of any audit findings
- Champion all coaching and mentoring initiatives within the team
- Working collaboratively with outsourced partner on achieving department objectives
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- ACCA/ ACA or CIMA Qualified
- Good technical accounting skills
- Good communication skills (oral, written and listening)
- Understanding how to implement process improvement
- Proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Able to organize and manage work
