Job Description

To ensure success as a corporate controller, you should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of financial management principles with extensive experience in a similar role. The role will sit within the HO Finance function reporting to the Finance Director and provide financial support among others Communication, HR, Legal, Finance teams and all the Corporate functions.

How you will contribute?

  • Support month-end and year-end close process, working closely with UK controller to ensure the right level of accruals and the consistency of the actual vs. the plan
  • Preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and reports, as well as reviewing journal entries and account reconciliation.
  • Guiding financial decisions by developing and monitoring policies and procedures.
  • Oversight of the Accounts Payable function (ESKER) and responsibility for employee expenses (Concur) and Clothing allowance
  • Analyzing and interpreting balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and liabilities.
  • Performing costs analysis and investment to make sure they are compliant with budget, as well as facilitating intervention strategies in case of any issue, liaising with the departments invoiced.
  • Monitoring closing processes, billing, invoicing, expenses, reimbursements, and payroll administration.
  • Mentioning the overview and controlling on the different cost Centre’s (specifically MIS, Communication, Samples, G&A)
  • Working closely with all departments to be their business partner
  • Coordinating and recording investments and maintaining records to share with the
  • Overseeing financial and accounting staff and analyzing profit Centre performance metrics.
  • Documenting processes and ensuring compliance with financial management and accounting regulations.
  • Coordinate a team of three, and guide the SAP improvements journey

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A Master’s degree with a focus on corporate financial management is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a financial administrator or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and industry regulations.
  • Extensive experience in corporate finances, auditing, and performance management.
  • Superb organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Advanced competency in Fashion and Luxury is a plus
