Job Description
You will support the Finance Manager in providing end-to-end support on finance-related matters that arise. Amongst others, this includes budgetary control, and supporting cost Centre owners to meet the strategic imperatives of the business.
You will support the Finance Manager with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and analysis of the UK Group overhead cost base, and will work with cost Centre managers, providing regular updates, producing reports and data to facilitate their decision making.
- Maintaining monthly provisions
- Raising journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations & recharges
- Assist with monthly reports including forecast
- Support in reporting flash, forecast and actual results
- Providing analysis of variances to forecast, budget and 5 year plan
- Producing reports for cost Centre owners and Senior Management
- Liaising with cost Centre owners, UK Finance and Group on all queries relating to UK Overheads
- Providing support for budget and 5 year plan
- Responsible for invoices received and paid
- Checking invoices are correctly coded and paid on time
