Job Description

You will take financial ownership of investment appraisals and capital reporting working alongside the Property team and other key areas of the business to challenge, optimize and review capital investment decisions.

You will be responsible for:

• Coach and lead the finance assistant
• Ownership of capital reporting and respective balance sheets
• Finance business partner to the Property Director & other related parties providing support, insight and challenge on capital and maintenance spend and investment appraisals
• Work with project leads, Operations and commercial finance team to assess the feasibility of capex projects against payback and IRR thresholds
• Post completion reviews assessing the performance of capital projects
• Communication / tracking / commercial challenge of spend
• Prepare and own capital expenditure and maintenance for budgeting and forecasting purposes
• Lead the property reviews with Board members
• Support the preparation of Board papers
• Ad hoc reporting, analysis & project work
