Job Description

The Senior Finance Manager leads a team of Finance Managers and provides expert analytical and decision support in the financial management, planning and direction of the clinical services as well as playing a leadership role within the group’s finance team. You will bring their abilities to handle complexity, interpret strategically and deliver effectively in their role as an experienced business partner working in tandem with clinical services.
The focus in this role is on using financial and other information to make recommendations for improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of Trust departments. Although the role is responsible for covering a designated range of directorates the Senior Finance Manager will also work across the Trust to deliver specific objectives. Skills in presentation of ideas and influencing others will be a clear requirement.
As the leading expert within a highly specialist area within Financial Management the Senior Finance Manager is responsible for the co-ordination, development and direction of a financial management team.
