Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure an initial 6 months day rate contract as an AP & Treasury Manager based in London two days a week with three days remote working available. The AP & Treasury Manager is a critical role in the Financial Reporting and Control team, owning key processes and relationships across the Purchase to Pay process and working with the Head of Financial Reporting & Control to oversee key aspects of Treasury management.
What you’ll be doing:
- Being a critical support to the business to ensure they are managing their PO’s and invoices correctly and efficiently
- Being a critical support to finance business partners by providing accurate up-to-date information on goods receipting to enable them to analyze cost variances between actual and forecast, and update forecasts accordingly
- Accountable for reconciliation and management of goods receipting/invoice received account (GR/IR) in SAP, ensuring the balance represents current accruals
- Providing excellent reporting to both the business and finance business partners to support accurate goods receipting on a monthly basis
- Ownership of, monitoring and reporting compliance against the No PO, No Pay policy. Drive improvements into the process to reduce risk of non-compliance.
- Ownership of PO system project, looking at ways existing system (SAP) can be improved and utilized to gain efficiencies and support better reporting
