Job Description
- Use Accountancy knowledge and experience to develop software products
- Work collaboratively to elicit requirements and develop solutions, technical and functional specifications and interface designs
- Produce well-defined user stories and monitor the product backlog
- Conduct product research to determine the need for improvements, reflecting user demand
- Identify and analyses product strategy and goals ensure they align to the software
- Work effectively with colleagues through agile sprints to ensure that development meets the requirements of technical and functional specification
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 2+ years' experience working within an accountancy practice and working knowledge of UK accountancy functions i.e. Accounts Production, Corporate Tax, Individual Tax, etc.
- Part or fully qualified Accountancy qualification - AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Desire and aptitude to learn Business Analysis responsibilities and capabilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships (internal and external)
