Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive team environment, where you can learn and develop your skills further. This is a full-time, office-based position working Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm. The role would suit an experienced individual who enjoys a range of financial accounting duties including ledger work, VAT returns, reconciliations, as well as month and year end management accounts. You will be involved in a range of Semi-Senior duties, with scope to take on more work over time. You will be a nearly or newly qualified ACCA Accountant with recent experience in a practice environment. The practice will support you with your final exams if you are due to qualify soon.
Duties include:

• Preparation of financial accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Bookkeeping and processing financial records
• Preparation of management accounts
• Reconciliation of ledgers and bank statement reconciliation, cash flow monitoring
• Completing monthly VAT returns
• Month and year end accounting

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for an experienced, all-round accounts professional. You will be highly numerate, with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and be able to work as a team as well as on your own initiative.
