Job Description
- Experience of month end close and consolidation process for a large business with multiple trading divisions
- Understanding of key business drivers and how to articulate and challenge company reporting
- Experience in running change processes from inception to completion Ability to speak up and challenge positively challenge
- Understanding financial systems and controls, solid balance sheet understanding and statutory accounting preparation
- Knowledge of VAT and tax to provide data and respond to queries from the Central Finance Function
- Previous experience of audit co-ordination and management
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A recognized accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
- A self-starter with ‘can do’ attitude
- The ability to multi-task under pressure and in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
- Process oriented approach and focused attention to detail with high standards for quality and accuracy in his/her work product
- Ability to present ideas and concepts to both senior stakeholders and team members
- A creative approach to problem solving with the ability to work with the resources available
- A high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience of responding to and providing information to external audit entities
