Analyze and prepare journal entries and accruals related to Inventory Accounting Monthly Close.
Work closely with FP&A and other stakeholders for quarterly NRV reserve calculation.
Prepare monthly detailed reconciliations and account analysis
Support balance sheet and cogs forecast process on a monthly basis
Implement control checkpoints prior to the close to proactively flag major system-driven discrepancies and ensure correction is carried out within the period
Meet with divisional counterparts and FP&A team to review results in detail; and become a business partner to these individuals
Assist in the preparation of the monthly reporting package containing information required for various audits and external filings.
Prepare variance analysis as appropriate.
Maintain and review documented procedures and ensure compliance with SOX requirements
Support of internal and external audits
Identify process improvement and efficiency enhancement opportunities and support these.
Assist with ad-hoc assignments and special projects as and when required by management.
Monthly reconciliations of data to ensure completeness.

Perform ad-hoc strategic analysis in support of new businesses/initiatives (new store opening, sourcing initiatives, inventory liquidation, etc.)
