Job Description

A corporate tax specialist is sought for this role however candidates with a mixed personal and corporate tax background are also encouraged to apply given the wide and diverse nature of the role and team that you would be working in.
Your key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Proactive business development to win new work
  • Support of the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business focused approach taken

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Technical and practical knowledge and experience in a range of corporate tax areas that may include tax compliance and tax audit work to wider advisory and structuring work.
  • Experience in more specialized areas of corporate tax such as capital allowances, international tax, transfer pricing would also be of interest.
  • Strategically and commercially aware
  • Strong client relationship management skills with ability to develop quality outputs to clients
  • Ability to solve the complex needs of your client
  • Effective time management, ability to remain calm when under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral
  • Enthusiastic team player with ability to create, sustain and manage effective teams
  • Ensure delivery of quality work and take day to day responsibility of delivery team
  • ACA / CA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification / or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a Tax specialist qualification
  • Strong tax technical skills
  • Business development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work
