Job Description
Ensure bank transactions, bank reconciliations, and cash reconciliations are updated daily for each site.
Account Management Accounts payable for (mostly) non-F&B suppliers and Accounts receivable the receiving function
Reconcile daily banking by comparing sales transactions with cash, credit card, and transfer receipts, and resolving any discrepancies.
Manage the purchase and sales ledgers, making certain that invoices are checked, coded, and entered the Xero accounting system.
Prepare payment runs for suppliers for approval. Plan one full BACS run per month, as well as ad hoc smaller payment runs as needed throughout the month, sending out remittances.
Reconcile supplier accounts to statements, as well as build relationships and communicate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies.
Daily sales report preparation and distribution via email to directors and department heads
Petty cash should be reconciled and replenished on a weekly or as needed basis.
Experience with Xero is preferred.
Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables) and MS Office proficiency are required.
Part-qualified/qualified AAT or something similar is desirable
Minimum of 12-24 months experience in a similar accounting role is essential
F&B expertise is desirable

Experience with Xero is preferred.
