Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage cash function team members (i.e. AP, AR)
  • Manage payroll tasks
  • Business partnering with Sales team
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Produce monthly finance reports to support senior management team
  • Prepare, analyze & submit UK & Ireland VAT returns
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Maintain comprehensive records (i.e. invoices, sales, cash management, etc.)
  • Liaise with suppliers & customers
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Provide end-to-end accounting support in relation to capital expenditure revenues
  • Support finance department processes
  • Support Group Accountant, Financial Controller, Directors and wider company

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified (i..e ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Experienced in people management, or has ambitions to do so
  • Possess strong IT skills, especially Excel
  • Commercially aware
  • Ability to be organized and work to deadlines
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience using Business Central is desirable but not essential
