You will lead automation within Finance Departments, highlighting opportunities for development while providing robust maintenance support to all developed applications.

You’ll be

• Managing the provision of systems administration and development of key finance systems Sun Accounts and associated interfaces
• Managing finance system upgrades or software selection and implementation to support the finance department
• Maintaining a close relationship with Group Technology to drive efficient processes to maintain a single version of the truth for all financial performance
• Highlight automation opportunities to relevant communities, turning ideas into development plans and executing those plans to agreed timescales and costs

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Have a financial services background and experience / knowledge of insurance methods of trading, industry operational practices and procedures
• Are a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or qualified by experience
• Have the ability to document and convey potentially complex subjects in an articulate, coherent and digestible form
• Have experience in Systems development and change control
• Are a Sun Accounts Expert including implementation or upgrade experience
