Job Description
To work closely with the Group CFO and local CEO to provide accurate and relevant financial information and discipline to maintain a healthy business. Advising to improve processes to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Supervise Finance Executives in all offices and provide on-going training.
- Maintain annual budget information required to run the business
- Report on actual performance vs budget performance
- Producing Monthly Client profitability report.
- Prepare Monthly reports with sufficient insight, causes of differences and recommendations
- Reconcile all Management Accounts to Xero and Fathom for the reported period
- Maintain Cash flow forecasts highlighting any concerns well in advance
- Maintain relationships and management of banking requirements
- Working with group Payroll function
- Manage all payroll requirements for the business
- Ensure tight payroll processes between finance and Talent
- Working with group Statutory function
- Ensure monthly records are kept well
- Preparation for year end and liaison with statutory auditors
- Preparation of Tax
- To improve and investigate new working practices as required.
- Producing adhoc reports and information as requested to other departmental heads.

- To maintain studies towards AAT Stage 2 Completion
- To achieve scores per skills matrix at Finance Manager level, or above
- To deliver quality, relevant and timely management information for decision making
- To maintain as close to possible zero errors across payroll.
- To provide ensure any staff under your supervision or clear on their own responsibilities, have the requisite tools to do their role and are supported.
- To have exceptional attention to detail and good communications skills.
- To actively participate in Senior Management meetings advising on financial strategy.
- To be proactive and self-motivated, and adaptable to the changes and growth of the Company.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines with an analytical view and a methodical approach.
- Extensive problem-solving skills. Patience of a saint.
Extensive commercial finance experience, in particular;
- Xero
- Fathom
- Forecast
- Sage
- Experience with varied computerized accounts packages.
- Knowledge of payroll and pension regulations
- Proven track record in a varied, rounded finance role
- Business Administration Experience
- Business Administration qualification
- Extensive finance experience.
- AAT Level IV minimum.
