Job Description
- Day-to-day liquidity and mid to long term cash flow forecasting – with monthly updates, automated as requested by CFO and with reviews to CFO and business.
- Cash flow reporting - including KPI reporting in our new management pack, scenario planning, graphic presentation, and interpretation with full variance analysis
- Hedging – monthly reports to CFO with recommendations
- Cash pool management – monthly reports to CFO and recommendations
- Proactive management of relationship with the banks, incl. daily communication
- Management of all bank related queries and escalations internally and externally
- Support with accounting issues /ensure compliance with accounting policy
- Liaise with and support external auditors and update CFO
- Balance sheet reconciliations excluding Controlling accounts responsibility
- Responsible for month-end (balance sheet) incl. accruals and reconciliations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Commercially and business awareness
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner to all international, internal, and external stakeholders including suppliers
- Deadline orientated or ability to meet deadlines
- Strong team player
- Understanding of the overall impact of their financial decisions
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
- Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constrain
- Knowledge of tax laws and tax preparation methods
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
