Job Description

The Team manages annual costs for the operation, investment and business value realization of the function. The Finance manager works with the IT & Data Leadership team, local and central finance teams to effectively forecast, optimize and control the operating and investment costs and oversees the governance and manages the reporting in line with Danone timelines.
The focus of the role is to create and maintain an efficient and effective process for controlling the costs related to the IT & Data Team with strong outcomes on animation, forecast accuracy and reporting on time.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to align actuals and forecasts with Central Business Units (CBU) and Supply Point cost controllers
• Detail oriented and continuous improvement mindset by reporting actuals and forecasts to central IT & Data cost control team
• Part qualified or newly qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in financial management roles in industry (Essential)
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure, to short deadlines
• Experience of compliance and governance
• Articulate and confident in communication to senior stakeholders (Essential)
• Able to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Confident with IT systems & controls (SAP – FICO module) (Essential)
• Good data management skills, preferably with strong experience of using Excel/Power BI to create meaningful analysis (Essential)
• Controlling financial accounts to month end and year end is essential
