Management Accountant, Digital Media Start-Up, Kings Cross, £55k
I am working exclusively with a VC backed digital media start-up who are looking for a newly qualified Management Accountant to join their fast-growing team.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will own the month-end process and lead one junior day to day. This is a fantastic opportunity to get stuck into a fast pace, 'hands on' environment.
The business are rapidly growing and expanding internationally. They have recently opened to the US/ European market! Initially, in 2019 they were a team of 10. This has now expanded to over 100 people, with new joiners each day!
Responsibilities:
- Production of month end management accounts
- Month end accruals
- Maintain robust controls and reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts and certain profit &
loss accounts
- Assisting in preparation of year end accounts
- Cost centre reporting
- Variance analysis for forecast and budgets to actuals
- Fixed assets accounting and reconciliation
- Maintenance of the bank accounts and payment portals
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis
What you will need:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- At least 3 years' experience working within Finance
- Experience working within Management Accounts is essential
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to navigate and use MS Excel (V look ups & pivot tables)
- Ability to work in fast paced environments
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Personable and approachable with excellent communication skills

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
