Are you experienced in Accounts Payable & looking for your next opportunity in international development? An impressive faith-based charity is looking for a Finance Officer to join their team as soon as possible.

What is the role?

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you would be required to spend three days a week in their Brent office. Main responsibilities:

• Managing & maintaining the purchase ledger; processing invoices and responding to queries
• Monthly reconciliation of receivables & chasing payments
• Reconciliations of bank accounts & balance sheet accounts
• Assisting with month-end journals & preparation of management accounts
• Ad-hod tasks as required by the Finance team

This role is offering a salary of up to £38,000, with an early finish on Friday afternoon.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven experience maintaining entire Purchase Ledger; Sales Ledger experience beneficial
• Experience with financial systems, particularly Xero
• Some experience assisting with the preparation of management accounts would be desirable
• Excellent communication skills
